The Retelit Group, active in the sector of broadband telecommunications, focuses its strategy on services and infrastructures targeted at national and international carriers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Application Service Providers (ASPs), Public Administration bodies and largeenterprises.
The Group provides connectivity and broadband data transmission services, IP access, high speed Internet transit, virtual private networks, co-location and infrastructures (Dark fibers/Conduits) proposed and based on integrated and scalable solutions.
The Retelit Group’s fiber optic backbone is mainly located along the ANAS state roads incentral-northern Italy and Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts. The Group also has eight MANs in Milan, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Padua, Naples, Bari and Reggio Emilia.
The current extension of the network is about 7,300 km, of which about 1,800 in metropolitan areas.
The Group holds usage rights for the 3.5 Ghz frequency, for the development of the WiMAX project in central and northern Italy, in the Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige, Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Liguria, Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Marche regions.
