It has been certified rated 3 by ANSI TIA-942 from EPI, operating space of 15,000-meter square or equivalent of 1.5 hectare, with development opportunity up to 22,000-meter square, with dynamic configuration of server racks of 2,000 to 20,000 units.
It has excellent power supply with 100% SLA since it became operational in 2016. The stable and reliable electrical supply is generated from nearby power plants of Cikarang Listrindo through 2 separate active grids and back up as passive supply. Main features of the green building incorporated into the data center infrastructure is cold aisle containment system (CACS), where cold is distributed along the corridors and hot air emanated will be channeled out from the back side.
Water chilled cooling system will consume less energy by saving 10-15 percent electricity compared to conventional cooling system.
To support main power supply, GTN Data Center installs two DRUPS (Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply) using flywheel as the mechanism to transit to power generator backup without any effect on running IT load. It replaces battery technology that produces toxic waste.
