EKu.Loc is the Colocation Product of ´The Simulator Centre´ by KSG|GfS and represents finally the largest independent location of Data Center Space in "The Ruhrgebiet" Area. The Simulator Centre by KSG|GfS in Essen-Kupferdreh has provided simulator training for licensed staff in German and Dutch nuclear power plants for almost 40 years. During the early years, the focus had been on all technical aspects of the training over the years, the range of course contents has been significantly expanded to include behaviour training courses.
Today, the Simulator Centre offers a highly diversified portfolio in education and training courses. This experience and expertise developed over many years is supported by highly qualified staff. With their in-depth know-how and long service in our company, our simulator trainers and behaviour trainers ensure the professional implementation of our customer's training requirements.
From a technical point of view our services include all aspects of planning, set-up and operation of nuclear power plant simulators. Our portfolio also includes consulting and management of comprehensive projects in the fields of process engineering, instrumentation and control systems and simulation technology across all sectors. We can offer you tailor-made solutions with regards to the current requirements in safe, clean and cost-efficient processes.
For the preparation of the end of the use of Nuclear Plants in Germany and the decreasing demand of Simulators for Nuclear Plants, KSG|GfS has started to implement IT-Services in their Product Portfolio. The Services considers IT Consulting, IT Certification and Colocation Services. KSG|GfS has started to rebuild the Spaces of the Nuclear Plant Simulators and prepare this Rooms as Data Center space, the KSG|GfS EKu.Loc Colocation Data Center.
