IIFON

The India Internet Foundation (IIFON) is a dedicated platform for the Indian community to collectively address and resolve technical and functional issues related to Critical Internet Infrastructure. Engaged in Internet Operations Research, IIFON manages Internet Exchange Points and DNS anycast Root Instances. The foundation focuses on improving the security, stability, and understanding of the Internet's DNS infrastructure in India. It operates as a not-for-profit organization and is registered as a trust under Indian laws.

IIFON's mission is to improve trust and build communities by enhancing DNS infrastructure, deploying DNSSEC, and conducting Internet operations research. The foundation also emphasizes community outreach, awareness, and education to foster the next generation of Internet standards.
