Echelon Data Centres is an international data centre infrastructure developer providing large-scale assets to support the growing global demand for data and computing resources – sustainably, responsibly and with due regard for the environment.
The increasing demand for large-scale data centre facilities is driven by society’s reliance on ‘always on’ connected technologies – mobile devices, the internet, e-commerce, and the continuing integration of AI and the IoT into our everyday lives.
These things deliver local and global benefits, and are considered by many to be essential to the way we live. Without data centre infrastructure, the benefits likely to accrue from emerging and developing technologies are simply not sustainable.
Echelon Data Centres currently has six facilities in Ireland and the UK – either online or under development – with a combined potential capacity of around 800MW.
