The Consorcio para el Intercambio de Tráfico de Internet A.C. (CITI) is a non-profit civil association established to manage the first Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in Mexico. Founded on November 20, 2012, CITI aims to enhance the efficiency of internet traffic exchange within the country. By providing a centralized point for various network operators to interconnect, CITI helps reduce transit costs, lower latency, and improve overall internet performance. The consortium includes key private sector organizations such as CUDI, Kio Networks, Megacable, Nextel, Redit, and Transtelco.
