The Hostbasket datacenter is conviently located near Ghent in Belgium, far from traffic jams and easy accesible through the major European highways.
The datacenter has a capacity of about 300 racks and was established in 1999. It has been modernised and expanded throughout the years.

Hostbasket uses connectivity of Telenet (4 GBps), Belgacom (1 Gbps) and Verizon (1 Gbps). The network is based on BGP4. Hostbasket has direct peerings and transit aggreements with most major national and international internet access providers.
